Taking after Mommy?
I am so happy that Sierra is learning the Love of a good Paper-Cup (recycled or reusable of course) Beverage at an early age!

Halloween 2013
Our Little Lady is our Little Bug so it was only perfectly appropriate that for Halloween 2013 we dressed Sierra as our very own little Ladybug.
Halloween evening we were invited over to Auntie Lois and Uncle Bill's house (next door) for an early dinner before we took Sierra Trick or Treating. We had a good eastern European meal with deviled eggs, hot dogs and sauerkraut, jello, mashed potatoes and maple cookies. Sierra sure loved the sauerkraut, it was Lois' homemade recipe.

The night before Halloween we decorated the house in cobwebs and carved pumpkins and posted in the yard headstones with bones and hung ghosts from our trees. When Sierra and I went to leave for school in the morning she talked about and pointed to all of the new sights in our yard - she sure was engaged (as she was in a pink tutu with bunny ears for her "school costume" - mommy was dressed in a non-dramatic Cleopatra).
Halloween evening trick or treating was scheduled from 6-8pm and so was the rain.

We went to Ninny and Pap's after dinner with Lois and Bill and met up with all of the Ledwich and Hensler cousin's to walk the streets of Level Green. Sierra insisted on holding her own pumpkin treat basket with light even as it became heavy with goodies. We were a collection of umbrellas in the street.
We headed back to our neighborhood around 730pm and went to visit some of our neighbor friends. Everyone was elated to see the Little Lady Bug. We visited until nearly 930pm.
It sure was fun!
